LONDON, January 28. The "Daily Telegraph"'says that women golfers are taking a revolutionary step regarding tho vexed question of amateur status. ' ■ '■ ■ Tho Surrey Association is moving at the next meeting of the Ladies' Golf Union to delete the word "amateur" from the conditions of events th'e union controls. '
