Major James Archibald Morrison, D.5.6., Grenadier Guards, of Colemaa Street, E.G., and Kensington Court, W, repnted, at the time of his death, on October 227 last, to be one of the richest men in England, left estate, "so far as can at present be ascertained," of £5459 (net personalty nil). - • Probate of bis will, dated June 22 last, has been granted to his nephew, Mr. John G. Morrison, Fonthill House, Tisbury, Wilts, and Mr. Leslie H. Watts, The Orchard House, Sevenoaks, accountant. The figure published is not a final estimate of the amount of the estate.
