Woodchester, in Gloucestershire, is anticipating a profitable stream of visitors from all parts of the world soon. This village houses a Eoman pavement, which is to be reopened for public inspection. It forms the floor of what was the cential hall of a splendid Eoman villa, nnd is an exceedingly fine specimen of mosaic work, 48ft lOin square.
