PRIME MINISTER'S TOUR

TE KAHA, January 29.
The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, Native Minister, accompanied by Sir Apirana Xgata, today paid tho first visit made by any Prime Minister to coast districts east of Opotiki, motoring along the new coastal road .to Cape Ruiia-. way~ for 70 miles, inspecting Native, settlement schemes on the way, and Receiving ceremonial welcomes at four 'iMaori villages. - Mr. Forbes is-spending tlio night at Te Kaha,.and tomorrow will traverse ( part of tho TJrewora country, reaching Rotorua in the evening, and Wellington, on Thursday.
