WEDDINGS
THOMSON—ROWE,
Wesley Church, Taranakt Street, was the scene of the wedding of Keith Ormston Thomson, elder soil of Mrs. J. C. Thomson and the late Mr. Thomson, of Melbourne, Victoria, arid Hazel Winifred only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Eowo, of Wellington. The Rev. T. & Richards officiated, and Mr. H. Temple White was at the organ. Bowls of pink and blue hydrangeas were artistically arranged round the altar. The bridge entered the church wearing a beautiful gown of pale gold angelskin crepe cut on classic lines with cowled neck and slight train. Her long tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms and she carried a sheaf of honey-coloured gladioli and maidenhair fern, tied with; gold ribbons. She was escorted by her father. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Webb, wore a charming frock of pale green georgette and a green tulle hat wreathed in flowers, and she carried a sheaf of apricot gladioli. The other bridesmaid, little Audrey Rowe, wore a long frock of green georgette and a wreath of flowers on her head. She carried n posy of apricot carnations and fern. The bridegroom's gifts to the bridesmaids wero pearl and crystal necklaces. ■ . ' ~> ' ■

A reception was held at the RitZj Manners Street. Mrs. H. J. Rowe received the guests, wearing1 an ensemble of black sand crepe relieved'by touches of white and cerise, with hat to match. Her bouquet was of dcep:tinted zinnias^ rosebuds, and asparagus fern. Musical and elocutionary items were rendered by Mesdames Clayton, Matthews, Misses Gladys and Lena Webb, and Mr; W. Bentley. Miss Lila Brady was the accompanist. . Mr. and Mrs. K. Ormston Thomson left later by steamer for Pieton, and from there motored to the Franz Josef Glacier. Mrs. Thomson was wearing a brown ensemble relieved with touches of tangerine and hat to match. .. : Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. E. Kellow, Mr. and Mrs. E. A.
