QUEEN CHARLOTTE SOUND, This Day.
Tho Mamma's passengers arc now joined by the informal atmosphere of tho cruiso into one happy family and woro astir early t his morning for the ship's arrival at Ship Cove, the scene o£ Captain Cook's several landings between 1770 and 1777. Parties went ashore- to inspect the monument to the famous navigator and to hear the historical associations explained, later returning to'the Marama for continuation of the cruise in. Queen Charlotte Sound, A delightful Maori; entertainment, followed by talkies and dancing on decTi under a starlit sky, made last night'at Port Hardy a memorable one. The weather is still superb.
