(By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyricht.) ; SYDNEY, January 29. At the wool sales today 12,183 bales were offered, of which 10,393 bales were sold at auction and 1849 disposed of privately. There was no quotable change in 'prices-,for fleece lines showing quality and evenness of staple, but faulty wools were irregular. Greasy merino made the record price of 20%d. The; average price of wool in Sydney last week was £11 i7s 6d a bale, or 9.5d a lb. "'. ■...-.'".
