MR. HAROLD E. TRIMBLE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. The death has occurred "of ' Mr. Haroia E. Trimble, of Inglcwood, at tho age of 70. He was chairman of the Stratford Technical High School Board for th'o past twelvo years; ' A son of Colonel Trimblo, one of tho pioneers of. Central Taranaki, he was chairman of the old Moa Road Board before it developed into the Inglewood County Council: Ho gained a reputation for' honesty" and fair treatment that, few public m'en achieve to' so marked a degree. He took a keen_ interest in' education, being at one tnno a member' of the Taranaki Education Board and one of tho first'to recognise the need for a more comprehensive type' of high school at Stratford to supersede tho old district high school. He gave the school the splendid library that has proved invaluablo to' the staff and pupils. As a Justice of the Peace Mr. Trimble took an active part in tho work of the "Taranaki Justices' Asspeiation.
