NEW YORK, January 29. With eight new-born infants dead and many others ill kk the maternity ward of the Holy Name Hospital at Teaneck, New Jersey, of a mysterious illness since January 1, forty other mothers and their babies have been moved to other hospitals and New York City diagnosticians called in in an effort to determine the nature.of the disease, which resembles • intestinal influenza. Autopsies performed on several children are reported to havo been inconclusive. Twenty babies: contracted the illness which, however, hat affected no other patients. >
