Auckland had fine and warm weather yesterday with a light wind from the north-cast. This, however, changed to the south-west last night. Wellington's weather was dull with a cool southerly breeze. It rained during the morning, but two hours of bright sunshine wcro recorded in the late afternoon. At Kelburu 12 points of rain were recorded, 30 falling in Lower Hutt. The weather this morning wag brilliantly fine, the. wind having changed to the north-west again: The weather .in Christchurch was fine although cloudy at times. There was a- south-westerly breeze during, the morning, but in tho afternoon a strong north-easterly wind prevailed. .The weather there this morning was fine with a north-easterly breeze. Duneain had a beautiful warm and sunny day with a northerly breeze. At 9 a.m. today tho weather was still clear with ' a gentle wind from the south-west.
