CARILLON RECITALS
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
Three recitals will be given on the National War Memorial Carillon, Buckle Street, during the Christmas holidays, on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. The recitals will commence at 8.30 each evening. Tonight and tomorrow- night the earnlonist will play the following programme: 1. Half-hour chime. 2. Hymn, "Christians, Awake!" 3. Hymn, "Hark, the Herald Angels i. Carol, "Holy Night" .(Barnfay). 5 Carol, "Good King Wenceslas." 6. Carol, "Silent Night, Peaceful Night" (Gruber). „ „ 7. Carol, "Three ;Kings of Orient." 8. Carol, "See Amid the Winter Snow" (Stainer). , , 9. Carol, "As Joseph Was a-Walkmg. 10. Carol, "Good Christian Men Rejoice!" 11. Change-ringing on 8 bells. 12. National Anthem.
