Prospects appear unfavourable, unless the weatner turns cold.
The High Commissioner cables London, December 22, as follows:—
Egg matket is depressed with fall in prices. English, national pack, 16s 6d to 20s pet 120 okrs; ordinary pack, 16s to 17s. Danish, 11s 3d to 16s 6d. Australian, 10s to 12s 9d. New Zealand, 10s to 13a.
