Mentiplay (6 points) was second, and K. F. Hoy and A. de Costa (3 points), third, equal.

Information is to hand concerning a rearrangement of the Palmerston North magisterial district following the reappointment of Mr.. K. M. Watson to Feilding following the completion of duties at Napier. It is understood that Dannevirke, Pahiatua, and Woodville will be included in the area under the jurisdiction of Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., of Palmerston North, while Levin, Foxton, and Otaki will be taken away and placed under Mr. J. H. Salmon of Wahganui.
