BURGLARS GET AWAY

TAIHAPE, This Day.
Brophy's store, at Hihitahi, was raided about 1 o'clock this morning. The till was broken open and £3 was stolen and also a quantitiy of cigarettes. Brophy was awakened artd the buTglars heard him and decamped hurriedly in a stolen motor-car. Two escapees from the Weraroa Training Farm are suspected, and the police arc. chasing them to the north. .'
