The. death took placo early this morning of Charles Kendall Wilson, one of the best-known residents of the King Country. Ho was born in Sydney, and came to New Zealand at the age of 16 with-his parents.. The late Mr. Wilson was an auctioneer; at Horowhenua for Messrs. Abraham and Williams, and camo to the King Country in 1910, when he engaged in farming in the Piopio district. He represented tho Waitomo electorate from 1911 to 1914, and was a member of tho Meat Board from 1923 till 1931. He was a member of tho Waitomo County Council for over twenty years.
