An anticyclone lias moved on to the Dominion, and, except for a few . isolated . light .-.howers in the east coast and far northern parts of the North Island, the-.weather has been fair to flno generally with rather«cool temperatures. Light to moderate southerly winds prevailed yesterday, but by this morning directions had become more" variable.
