NEW ZEALAND SUPPLIES

LONDON, September 27.

The annual report of Dr. \VY H. YVilloughby, Medical Officer of Heaiih for tha city of London, Btates that 223,058 tons'of beef and veal were handled at the central London markets during the twelve months covered by the report, as compared with 227.403 tons in the preceding- year, an increase of 1855 tons. Of this total, New Zealand contributed 3525 tons, or 213 tons more than in the previous yenr. The total quantity of mutton and lam]) handled at the markets was 143,433 tons, representing a drop of G875 tons on the figures-for the preceding year. New Zealand's contribution of mutton and lamb to London's larder : totalled 72,234 tons, a decrease of 5831 tons. New Zealand sent 4200 tons of frozen' pork to' the London market, 2104 tons morn than in the preceding twelve months;- 320 tons of frozen rabbits; 3 tons of eggs; 270 tona of butter and cheese, and 12 tons of "sundries." Of the total of 450.413 tons or produce plTssed through the London markets home produce consisted of 25.8 per cent., Dominion 28 per cent., and foreign 4(3.2 per cent. *
