LONDON, October 14.
Canon Hannay, otherwise known as Geoi'ge Birmingham, the novelist, preaching at Kensington Gore, compared the translation of the Bible with the dedication to King James written by the very same men. He said: "It contains every possible fault in English prose, except, the split infinitive, and I can only suppose that while translating, they were possessed by- some power which might be called inspiration."
