LOCOMOTIVE ORDERS
L.M. AND S. RENEWAL PLANS
i (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 6. The London, Midland, and Scottish Railway, whose 1935 programme provides for the building of 118 locomotives at their own works, have decided to place orders for an additional 150 locomotives with Messrs. Armstrong, Whitworth at Newcastle and the Vulcan Foundry Company at Newton-le-Willows in Lancashire.
