MACHINES FOR THE AIR RACE (No. 4).— The Douglas airliner, entered by the Dutch Air Line Company, K.L.M., is considered to have a'very bright chance in the speed race. The Douglas is one of the outstanding commercial machines in the United States, and with sixteen passengers- and freight averages over 200 m.pjt. on regular service runs. The Dutch propose to use a relay of pilots, all of whom are fully experienced in long distance flying.
