WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS

Three sections of the Wellington table tennis championships were completed last evening. In the B grade the women's singles title was won by Miss Gardner, the mixed doubles by Mouat and Miss Smyth, and the C grade men's doubles by Walker and Bray. Results:— A GRADE. , Men's Singles. Third round: Moore beat Smith, 31-21, 33-35, 31-27; Bell beat Conrick, 26-31, 31-18, 31-21. Semi-final: Bell beat Moore, 31-22, 31-21; Williams beat Osbaldiston, 28-31, 31-22, 31-24. Men's Doubles. Mixed Doubles.-Semi-finals: Longmore and Miss Hollis beat Kennedy and Miss Sturrock, 14-31, 31-22, 31-27; Williams and Miss Williams boat Hayvice aud Miss Masters, 20-31, 31-29, 31-14. B GRADE.
