Several games in the Hntt Club championship were played during the weekA bogey competition was won by W. H. Lees, jun., 2 down. The.final of the Wilford Cup was played during the weekend between G. B. Ward and F. N. Gibbons and B. Jervis and W. G. Fisher, over 36 holes. At the end of the first round Jervis and Fisher were 3 up. Ward and Gibbons put up a splendid fight 'in the afternoon. Alter being dormie 4 down, they won two of the four holes, and it was necessary for Jervis to sink a 7-foot putt on the seventeenth for a half to win the match. It went in and Jervis and Fisher won the Cup, 2 and 1.
