WOMEN CRICKETERS
DRESS FOR COMING TOUR,
(From "The Post's" Representative.) LONDON, August 6.
A ■ special sub-committee of the AVomen's Cricket Association was appointed to decide what should be the style of dress worn during the coming tour in Australia and New Zealand.
The committee has recommended divided skirts and blouses of some cellular material. There is to be a uniform hat, and stockings are to be worn. There has been much discussion about stockings, and the final decision on this controversial subject was left to the whole council of the W.C.A.
AA'hethcr the recommendation regarding the divided skirts and blouses will find favour among the players at Homo, Miss Marjorie Pollard has her doubts, but she expects that several players will be so clothed before the end of the season.
