FAMOUS EX-CHAMPIONS

DUNEDIN, September 3. At a notable gathering of famous Rugby champions of the past at the AlhambraKaikarai old-timers' Rugby jubilee there was no old player more wholeheartedly received than Pat Keogli, the star of the New Zealand Native team of 1888-89, who was hailed by many as the greatest Rugby half-back New Zealand has produced. It was a unique function, two clubs of fifty years' standing combining for their jubilee. At a church service Bishop Fitchett, an old Alhambra three-quarter, was the preacher.
