CHANCE FOR ART COLLECTORS.
Attention is called to an advertisement in another column of a sale of pictures, etchings, and prints to be held by MeSsrvs. J. IT. Betlnine and Co. tomorrow afternoon. Among the oil paintings is one of Wellington Harbour by Vander Velden, as veil as several by Carruthers Gould, W. Hunt, C. Hay Campbell, and other artists -who have made a name for themselves. The water-colour paintings are interesting, too, and include a pastel head by J. M. Nairn. Included in the 6ale is a fine collection of French colour etchings, aquatints, engravings, and prints. Many of these are by famous English artists, and will probably be eagerly sought after by collectors. Included amongst the items for eale is an original etching, "Death of the Virgin," by Rembrandt. It is Beldom that euch a collection of works of art is brought together in a Wellington saleroom, and the disposal of it should be of considerable interest to all who take an interest, in art. .
Ramsey Wilson and Co. will sell th« contents'of a pastrycook's and confectionery business at. No. 191 Willis Street at 1.30 p.m. tomorrow.
