A PARTIAL RESTORATION

CIIRISTCHUKCH, September 3.
In response to the appeal of the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes) that private employers should, if condition of business warranted, restore at least part of the wages cut, Aulsebrook and Co., Ltd., restored 2$ per cent, as from today. The decision affects 400 employees, and the firm states that if trading conditions continue to improve further restorations will be made.
