BIBLE CLASS MATCH
Teams representing St. Mary's Anglican Bible Class and the Kaiori' Methodist Bible Class met in a Rugby match at Karori Park on Saturday afternoon, an interesting and enjoyable game resulting in a win for St. Mary's by 16 points to 0. The game was not without bright incident, some of. the movements leading to tries being spectacular. St. Mary's first try resulted from a splendid passing bout in which the reverse pass was worked nicely for Sunley to score. D. Cooper finished off a fine solo effort from midfield with a " try, and before half-time Tremewan added a try. D. Mclntyre converted one try, making the half-time score 11-0 in St. Mary's favour. In the second spell Mclntosh scored two tries for Methodist and Denby one, Denby making a good solo dash. E. Murphy scored for St. Mary's and D. Mclntyre converted. Mr. Keegan was the referee.
