The Canadian foursome played on the Shandon links on Saturday was won by C. E. Hollis and E. E. Banish, with 84, 15— 69. M. R. Bowring and W. Lauchlan came next with 81, 0—72, and then followed M. Carroll and 0. Johns, 90, 24—72. In a bogey competition, 0. Johns (18) and W. J. Davidge '(«) tied with 2 down. R. Lulham (7) was !i down. In fhn fonrball event. G. Kofbcibam (6)
and W. Lniiehlan (.11) won, 7 up. Their best, ball was a 73. N. MeKoiuie (S) and E. MeCarroll (11) were i> up.
In the third round of the Vance trophy, Warder and AVilson beat Russell and Glcndower, 2 up; Rotherham and Lauchlan bent Denz and Feigic, 7 and 0; McCarthy and Vickerman beat Park and Kershaw, 5 and 4; Taylor and Murio beat Boyd and MeCarroll, 2 and 1; Ross and Pore beat Berry and Digby, 3 and 1; AY. Pocknall and A. Hawken beat C. E. Hollis and P. Burke. 3 and 2; R. Lulham and C. Brown beat Turner and Davidge., 4 and 3; H. 11. McL. Elliott and W. Lavelle, and W. Samson and L. O'Brien, all square.
