COMMITTEES PLAY
The annual match between teams representing the committees of the Miramar and Hutt Clubs was played on the Miramar links yesterday, and resulted in a win for Miramar by eight games to four. Miramar won the fourballs in the morning by three games to one, and the singles in the afternoon by five games to three. The following are the results, the Miramar players being mentioned first:— THE FOURBALLS. H. A. Black and J. 11. Drake beat Rana Wagg and W. K. Cook, 4 aiid 3. D. R. Richmond and C. V. Sutherland beat H. K. Adamson and L. C. Homery, 2 and 1. T. R. Lawson and A. Marsden lost to R. V. McDowell and C. A. Burgess, 2 and I. • C. L. Dentice and H. F. Toogood beat S. A. Wiren and J. H. Turner, 2 and 1. THE SINGLES. lv.A. Black beat Rana Wapir. 5 and 3. J. H. Drake beat W. K. Cook, 1 up. I). R. Richmond lost to H. K. Adamson, 2 down. C. V. Sutherland lost to L. C. Heinery, I 2 down. Against Wagg, Black did a 72 out in 35 and then 3 up.
