MANOR PARK LADIES' CLUB
The winners of the 36 holes bogey competition played by the Manor Park Ladies' Club for Miss Fairbrother's trophy were Miss Stevens in the seniors with 3 down, and Mrs. Blundell in the juniors with 10 down. In the second round of the Dick Wilson Cup, Miss Murtagh beat Mrs. Haslam, 6 and 5. In the first round of the fourball competition, Ill's. Sherwood and Mrs. Marshall beat Mrs. Hough and Miss Harman, 3 and 2; Miss Mehaffey and Miss King beat Miss Butler and Miss Murtagh, 3 and 2. An 18-hole bogey competition resulted in a tie between Miss Marshall and Miss Stevens, who both finished 3 down. Miss Marshall won on a recount over the last nine holes.
An eclectic competition for Miss Ken's trophy was won by Miss Harman, with 70 net. Other good scores were: Miss Stevens and Mrs. Sherwood, 71; Mrs. Butler and Miss Gaynor, 72; Miss Fairbrother, 73; Miss Marshall, 74; Miss Mehaffey, 75;. Mrs. Haslam and Miss King, 70; Mrs. Hay and Miss Nash, 77.
