The Director-General of Agriculture" (Dr. Reakes) has received the.following* cablegram froih'the High Commissioner, London, September 1: — • "Peas.—Maples^ Demand good until about the middleof the month.- 'A' grade Tasmanian-for August-September shipment sold at from 51s 6d to 525; and No. 1 New Zealand at from 50s to 51s. Trade quiet now with values about unchanged. Blues: Fair demand about the beginning of the month. 'A' grade Tasmanian £12 buyers; shippers offering £12 10s. Market has declined. August-September shipment sold at £ 11.10s." . . . . ' :
