DUNEDIN, This Day. How tho recent cricket Test broadcasts havo affected the finance of th*» Dunedin City Corporation is reveaje'l' in information supplied by the city electrical engineer. ■ ■ As a result of the Tests revenue of £147 was added to the electric powor and light department's finances, on an averago of approximately £30 per match. Tho first Tost claimed an estrn, 6190 units, tho sccond,Test 3250, the third 0000, the fourth 10,190, 'and the fifth 6760 units. The total number of extra units was 35,390, ot- an increase of 5.3 por cont. The last Test jdid not produce so much interest by listeners, but the overwhelming score by the Australians on the first dny probably had some effect. . »
