LONDON, September 1.
Professor James Hogati has resigned from the newly-appointed National Executive of the United Ireland Party as "the strongest possible protest against General O'Duffy's -destructive and hysterical leadership and his, pronouncement regarding Ulster, which is fatal to a policy of national unity."
The Dublin correspondent of "The Times" states that there is considerable excitement over -. tho resignation of Professor Hogan, who has been one of tho party's most loyal and steadfast .supporters. His defection is almost certain to bring to a head several differences which are'■khowK io exist between General O'Duffy and other members of the Executive.
