SERIOUS ALLEGATION
BLACKMAIL IN BAKING TRADE

SYDNEY, This Day.
Mr. A. F. Kirkland, president of the Master Bakers' Association, made allegations at the Boyal Commission which is inquiring into the baking industry of bla"ekmail in the trade. He said that men-established bakery business, then indulged in price-cutting tactics for the purpose of being bought out from the master bakers' stabilisation fund. The fund had cost the master bakers between £7000 and .£BOOO yearly. ■ ■ •
