' Two important Association football games will bo played at • the Basin Reserve tomorrow,, when Man'st will meet [Swifts in the championship and Hutt and 'Petone will play off in the Auld Cup to see which team is to play Marist in the final. - The game between Marist and Swifts will. decide whether Marist are to proceed to the final of the championship, as by"wiuning this game, they will draw level with Hospital and a play-off will 1m necessary between these two tennis. H they win this game Marist will have a great chance to win nil tho cups in tho senior competition. The meeting of Hutt and Petone should also provide a goo.! game, as Petone will bo all out to secure the Auld Cup for the second time. There will bo two first-class curtain-raisers. The final of the Chatham Cup will be played at the Basin Reserve on September 15.
