TO IMPROVE TENNIS
VISITS TO AUSTRALIA
lv a short talk .on his ■.experiences in the Old Country, Mr. C. G. White gave those present.at the annual meeting 'of the New Zealand Lawn Tennia Association somo interesting sketches of the various players he had seen in action, with special reference to< the New Zealanders at present at Home! In view of his business calls-and other duties, E. D. Andrews could hardly be regarded auy_ longer ns a Davis Cup possibility, he said. It was considered by Mr. White that New Zealand would be well advised to send some more of the more promising players to Australia fairly frequently for experience, rather than spend money on Davis Cup travels in the immediate future Such ' tours for experience would be the menus of building up a stronger stitnrinri] of piny among.H a larger number of players.
