QUIET MARKETS

Danish, 104s per ewt; choicest salted New Zealand, 77s to 7Ss; Australian, 745; unsalted New Zealand, S6s; Australian, 7Ss to 80s. The cheese market is slow. New Zealand coloured, 46a per cwt; white, 495.

A. S. -.Paterson and Co., Ltd., advise having received today cable advice from J. and J. Loiisdale and Co. (London), Ltd.,: as follows:—Butter: Market steadier, more inquiry. New Zealand, 7Ss; Australian, 74s to 755; Danish, easier, 80s f.0.b., 101s landed. Cheese: Market slow.. First G. white 495, first G. coloured 45s to 45s

6d. Cabled advice has been received by A. J. Mills, Ltd., from London, dated August 30, giving market prices ruling at close of. business on Thursday as follows:— Butter: Market is quiet and steadier with reduction. New Zealand, finest 76s to 78s, firsts 75s to 70s, unsalted BGs to 88s;
