Answering a knock on the door late on Friday night Mr. B. Goddin, draper, was confronted by a youth, his face masked with a scarf and holding a barrel-shaped object in his ljaud, who told him to "stick them up." Mr. Goddin closed with the intruder, who escaped, dropping the weapon, which proved to be of bamboo. It- is understood that a seventeen-year-old youth will appear in court on Monday as the TC.sult of police investigations. .
