FLOWERS IN ICE

SAN FRANCISCO, August 27. Fourteen blocks of Western Australian iced flowers havo arrived for exhibition at a flower show in Oakland iii September. In a City Hall ceremony today Miss Barbara O'Connor presented tho Mayor (Mr. Angolo Rossi) with a block. The Mayor expressed delight with the per--I'cction of the flowers and said that the evont was unique in the history of f.'iilifurnia, which proposed to vecipro-i-filo :iml .send Culifornian poppies to An-lialia.
