MAKING MUNITIONS
ATTITUDE TO WAR
. LONDON, August 27. The International Metal AVorkers' Congress, representing 700,000 men, unanimously passed a' motion in favour of disarmament by all nations and consideration of control by the League of Nations of the production and export of munitions. Mr. B. Dennison, on behalf of British dolcgatcs, urged that at the moment war socmed inevitable the congress should be called to consider whether metal workers would make, munitions.
