At the conference of the Federation of School Committees' Associations, tho following remit was carried unanimously:— .'■.-■■. "That in view of expressions of opinion obtained at recent meetings of householders throughout New Zealand favouring restoration of optional admission of children at five "years of age to State primary schools, tho Minister of Education be urged to repeal this legislation at the earliest opportunity."
