Th&.confectionery shop and residoncs of Mrs. Margaret Mayo, in Tainui Street, was destroyed by fire at 12.15 this morning. Only excellent -work by the Greymouth Fire Brigade prevonted the destruction of two contiguous buildings, the - drill hall and a residence.
