SUCCESSFUL YEAR
CHILDREN'S HEALTH CAMP
The Wellington • Children's Health Camp Association in its annual report congratulates members upon another successful year. ' Tributes are paid to Miss Donoghuc (the matron), Sister Lane, Miss i'ramo, Miss Norris, and to the various organisations and citizens who have helped the camp by gifts and in other ways.
An effort, it is stated, is being made to form a Dominion Federation of Health Camp Associations. It was believed that the formation of such a body would bring increasing recognition and support to the health' camp cause by the Government and make awider appeal to the public for financial help.
The association has received notice of a bequest of £020 from the late Miss H. Thomson, of Wellington. By her will, Miss Thomson left the whole of her estate, after payment of death duties and expenses, to the association. Steps are to be taken at the camp to conunemorate her generosity. The Otald Health Camp will close down for a month, during which time the premises will be thoroughly cleansed and renovated. The camp will open again in October.
