BYLAW OFFENCES
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with by Mr. C. Orr Walker in the Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Harry B. Kennedy was fined £1 for failing to give way to traffic on the right.
For parking a, car in a prohibited area, David W. Anderson was ordered to pay costs.
William Brown was fined 5s for allow ing a chimney to catch fire.
Michael O'Grady and William Walling were each lined 5s for having no drivers' licences, and on a charge of permitting the use of an unlicensed motor-vehicle, Walling was fined £2.
Keith E. Craig was fined £1 for using explosives within the city without a permit.
For negligent driving, Harold C. Brown' was fined £2.
A fine of 10s was imposed on Harold A. Hamilton for driving against a traffic light.
