SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT

HASTIXGS, August 28. Eight teams—Napier A and B, Hastings, Wangauui, ' Taranaki, Mauawatu, Wairarapa. and Wellington—are competing in the first North Island primary schools Soccer tournament, which opened at Napier today.
.Results so far are as follows:—Wellington 1.3, Hastings 1; Napier A 12, Taranaki 1; Manawatu 4, Napier B 0; YVairarapa 1, SVanganui 0; Napier A -, Wangauui 1; Tnranaki 7, Wairarapa 5; Wellington i, Manaivatu 1; Napier B 2, Hustings 1.
