KINDERGARTEN UNION
The annual conference of the Free Kindergarten Union of New Zealand concluded yesterday. It was decided to hold the nest conference at Auckland.
' Mrs. A. Kidd (Auckland) was. ap/ pointed president, and MrV. Milsoni (Auckland) honorary secretary-treasurer. The following executive was elected: —"Miss England,- Wellington; ! Mrs. Bauchop, Hastings; Mrs. A. Kidd, Auckland; Mrs. Thacker, Christcliurch; Lady Sidey, Dunedin; and Misa Birss, Invercargill. Votes of thanks were accorded to Lady Sidey, the retiring president, and to Mrs. J. A. Hauan, honoraryvseeretary-treasurer. The valuable services rendered by them to the kindergarten movement were eulogised. Lady Sidey and Mrs. ) Hanan, in reply, said that the pleasure of the work had amply rewarded them for their part in the activities of the union.
