CAMERA AS WRESTLER
. Tho suggestion that Prinio Camera, ex-heavy weight boxing champion of the world, should now'turn his attention, to wrestling, is supported by Tex Austin in "The Ring." Austin states-that Camera is built more for the mat sport than for boxing and would bo a treinendotfs' draw card in town where thousands have been eager for a, glimpse of him. If he became heavyweight wrestling champion he would be the first athlete ever *to have held both titles, and if he turned to the mat it is $ certainty he would become the titleholder. . ■ '■' ■
Camera started to wrestle with a. travelling carnival in Prance when he was only 17 years old, and took on all comers. After three years lie was persuaded to enter the boxing field.
A. definitely contrary view was taken by Dan Koloff when tiio writer referred tho above proposal to him this week. "No," said Dan, "he would never get within the first three, let alone be champion, ' He is too long in the bone to be a good wrestler." : " This brought up the question of the present world's champion, and Koloff, who is a prominent figure on the pro-, moting as well as tho active side of wrestling, had no hesitation in saying that Ed. Don Georgo now holds the title. George, according to Koloff, holds tho championship belt which Sonnenburg had when he was champion.
