Archibald, of Wellington. BEITTENDEN—PHILLIPS. An engagement of interest to rnauy in Wellington is 'announced Clairo, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Phillips, of Greymouth, to George Harold, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Brittenden, of Ohristehurch. Mr. Brittenden is a former South Island and Canterbury representative footballor and is now a member of the Canterbury Rugby Union.
