GERMAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

BERLIN, August 10. The German tennis championships are being played at Hamburg. In the- semi-finals of the men's singles Cramm (Germany) defeated Quist (Australia), 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, and Burwell (England) defeated Sertorio, 7-9, 6-2, 7-5, 6-3.
In the semi-finals of the women's singles championship Fraulqin Cilli Aussem (Germany) defeated Miss Scriven (England), 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, and Mrs. Sperling (Germany), defeated Mile. Payot (Switzerland), C-4, 6-3.
