MEETING AT WESTPORT

WESTPORT, August 9.
There appears to be a brighter atmosphero in regard to.the shipping hold-up. Officials of tho Soamen's Federation arrived last evening, and-they will attend a meeting of the seamen of tho five vessels held up tomorrow morning, when it is possible that an agreement may be reached.
